Safety in the field

Workplace safety matters whether you're out in the field or in the office. This module will help create a safety culture within your organisation. It will take you through a series of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) scenarios and guide you to make the best decisions to keep your team, colleagues and peers safe.

  • Explain what specific WHS obligations they have as a team member;
  • Identify hazards out in the field and make logical assumptions about related tasks and complete a hazard report;
  • Follow the relevant procedures and respond appropriately when faced with an emergency situation;
  • Use the safest possible procedures for manual handling and responding to a WHS incident.
